This Privacy Policy explains how Huggable Memories, LLC ("FurEverHugs," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you visit fureverhugs.co, place an order, upload a photo to personalize a product, or contact us. By using our site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

• Contact and order details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing address, and the contents of any message you send us.
• Pet personalization content: photos you upload to personalize a product, and the pet’s name you enter.
• Purchase information: the products you order and your order history. Payment card details are entered at checkout and handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card number.
• Wholesale details: if you submit a wholesale inquiry, your business name and any information you choose to share.
• Technical information: basic information your browser sends, such as your device type and general location, used to operate and secure the site.

Where this information comes from

Most of it comes directly from you. Some comes automatically from your device when you browse, and some comes from the providers who help us run the store (for example, our checkout provider) when you place an order.

How we use your information

• To process and fulfill your orders and create your personalized product.
• To provide customer support and respond to your messages.
• To send order updates, and, if you ask to hear from us, occasional marketing email (you can opt out at any time).
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure.
• To meet our legal and tax obligations.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it with the companies that help us run our business, as needed to provide our products and services, and with Meta for advertising as described below:

• Shopify, which powers our checkout, payments, and customer accounts, and processes your order and payment information on our behalf.
• Replicate, an artificial-intelligence service that automatically separates your pet from the background of a photo you upload. See "Your photo uploads" below.
• Amazon Web Services, which securely stores your uploaded photo and the print-ready file used to make your product.
• Strapi, which stores the messages you send through our contact and wholesale forms.
• Our email providers, which deliver the emails we send, such as order updates and replies to your messages.
• Meta (Facebook), which receives information about your activity on our site for advertising, as described in "Advertising and analytics" below.

We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a business sale or transfer.

Your photo uploads

When you personalize a product, the photo you upload is sent to our AI service to automatically separate your pet from the background, and the result is stored securely so we can produce your item. We use your photo to create your product and to keep a record of your order; we do not use it to identify any person. Please upload only photos you have the right to use.

Advertising and analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site (for example, which pages and products people view) so we can improve it. This sets analytics cookies on your device.

We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure and improve our advertising. The pixel sets cookies (_fbp, _fbc) and shares information about your activity on our site with Meta for advertising purposes. This is "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under some state laws. You can opt out anytime using the Privacy Choices control in our footer, which stops both analytics and the Meta Pixel on this device.

When you complete a purchase, we also send Meta a record of that order from our own servers so the purchase can be matched to its advertising. Contact details sent this way are scrambled first so they cannot be read as plain text, and opting out stops this too.

Your choices and rights

You can:

• ask what personal information we hold about you and request a copy;
• ask us to correct or delete it; and
• opt out of marketing email at any time using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

To make a request, email us at cs@fureverhugs.co. We will respond as required by applicable law, and we will not treat you differently for exercising these choices.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies needed to run the store and remember your cart, Google Analytics cookies that help us measure how the site is used, and the Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp, _fbc) described under "Advertising and analytics". You can turn the analytics and advertising cookies off at any time using the "Privacy Choices" link in our footer.

How long we keep information

We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our products and services, meet our legal and tax obligations, and resolve any disputes. Uploaded photos and print files are kept indefinitely.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

Our site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed.
